Charity Go-Karting Event details
GDM Lindex Ltd held their Annual Charity Go-Karting Event in September 2007. This was the tenth year and the event was a great success. £2,690.00 was raised for the Royal National Mission for Deep Sea Fishermen (RNMDSF). Website is www.fishermensmission.org.uk
This year we had the return of the current champions, Russell Burgess Ltd (Burgee Boys) who held onto the trophy in a closely fought contest. A new lap record was set by Paul Defusto’s Team (G-Force) of 53.04 seconds beating the 2006 record of 53.29 seconds.
We would like to thank the companies and individuals who supported us through participation or a donation.
Next year (2008) our charity will be the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance. It will be in September again (11th September 2008) and if any companies are interested in entering a team or giving a donation please contact us.
